Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think if your cholesterol is normal, being a diabetic, your dose of rosuvastatin can be reduced to the minimum dose. However since you have not uploaded any report, I cannot give you the correct dose needed. Alternatively, if you are willing to test the lipid profile every 3 months, the medicine can be stopped. But again, I am unaware of the current reports and so I would suggest you discuss this with your treating doctor. As for spironolactone- you are a hypertensive. So BP medicine is needed. It cannot be stopped. The dose and the drug can be modified. As for hair loss, are you sure it is due to the medicines. There are other causes of hair loss as well - typically due to fungal growth , or deficiency disease, or simply male pattern baldness. So do meet a dermatologist or upload a picture of the hair line so that in case there is another cause of hair loss, a suitable prescription can be suggested instead of changing medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
