General & Family Physician, Dr. Ina Zaimi's Response
Hello Sir,
Welcome to Health Care Magic! I understand your concern.
I would strongly advice your wife not to take the bowel prep kit, which has sulphur components, because it may lead to severe allergic reactions. Instead of using sodium sulphate/potassium sulphate/magnesium sulphate solution, I would recommend that your wife uses alternative bowel preparation which are sulphur free, like bowel preparations with polyethylene glycol (PEG), PEG-Citrate-Simethicone, PEG-Ascorbate etc. I don't know which ones are available in your country, but there are definitely sulphur free alternatives.
Hope I answered to your question. For further concerns, please feel free to ask again.
