Are T3 And T4 Tests Advisable For A Kidney Patient?

I take Depakote er for bipolar in remission. I used to get special blood tests (t-3 or t-4). i also have stage 3 kidney disease.) should I still be getting these tests? why ? I have a new dr and wonder why these tests are no longer ordered. mt email address is YYYY@YYYY
