Are Toprol, Diltiazem And Losartan Making Me Feel Tired?
For the last 6 months my doctor has me taking Toprol 25mg, Diltiazem 120 mg, and Losartan 100 mg once for hypertension and irregular heartbeat. I feel that this is too much medication. I have been unusually tired. Priot to these medications I was on Azor and Toprol. After wearing Zio patch for 10 days, medication was changed.

I carefully passed through your medical history and would explain that Toprol is a betablocker and betablockers are known to reduce the muscular performance, thus leading to chronic fatigue. Nevertheless, you are on a low dose of Toprol.
I would like to have some more information on your blood pressure and heart rate values.
Low blood pressure or low heart rate could be the cause of your symptoms. In such case, you should discuss with your doctor on the possibility of making some changes to your actual therapy (reducing the doses of diltiazem or losartan).
I would also recommend performing plasma levels of potassium and losartan could lead to high levels of potassium, causing muscular fatigue.
