Are Tryptomer And Efcoben Effective To Treat Burning Sensation And Pain In Urethra?
Doctor prescribe me Tryptomer 10mg & Efcoben for burning sensetion in lower part of urathra and light pain. I am feeling drwosiness & sleeping tendency increased suddenly. Pl let me know whether said medicine is proper for burning sansation and pain in urathra just below the panis.
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Tryptomer is an anti-depressant medicine and Efcoben is Vitamin B complex drug used to treat peripheral neuropathy. Tryptomer is having side effects like drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, trouble in urination etc. So if you are having difficulty in urination then it will be aggravated by tryptomer. You should have urine routine and microscopy test done to find out the cause of the burning and pain in urethra. If there is pus cells present in test then burning urination would be due to urinary tract infection (UTI). For treatment of UTI, you should have antibiotics plus Phenazopyridine for burning micturition. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
