Are Tussidex Forte Linctus And Dhasedyl Syrup Advisable For Phlegm Cough?
Dear Doctor Is dhasedyl syrup meant for a dry cough or a phlegmy cough? I am confused. Went to see a doctor earlier for my bad phlegmy cough but she prescribed me a Tussidex Forte Linctus (the box of the syrup says it is for resistant dry cough) for the day and another Dhasedyl syrup for the night. I don t think this is the right medicine...

Both the mentioned cough syrups are prescribed for dry cough.But it can also be given in phlegm cough when it is severe and causes extreme discomfort to the patient.
Kindly continue any one of the syrup twice daily since both are cough suppressants and have similar action.
