Are UTIs And Pelvic Floor Pain Always Connected With Cervical Cancer?

are UTIs/pelvic floor pain always connected with cervical cancer?

I have abnormal cells/mild dysplasia on my cervix, and have a booked coloposcopy for next month, but have in the last couple of weeks also noticed mild pelvic/abdominal pain and uncomfortable urination. Should I book a more urgent appointment?

Abdominal Pain and uncomfortable urination could be due to pelvic inflammatory disease and urinary tract infection respectively. It need not be necessarily associated with cervical cancer. They can be seen even in normal women. If dysplastic cells from what you have mentioned was detected long back(>6 months back), then probably an urgent appointment woud be necessary. Otherwise there is no need of panic right now
