Are Unicobal Forte And Ecospirin Av Advisable For Long Term Usage?

My Husband was prescribed Unicobal Forte & Ecospirin Av 75 mg 5 years back when he suffered from Infracts since they could not find the reason for the infracts inspite of all the Test of Blood & MRI. He is still taking the medicines today though we do not visit the doctor now. Is it safe to continue with the medicine or should we stop it.

Unicobal forte is a vitamin supplement and it should do no harm if taken for long term, so can be taken safely.
Ecosprin AV contains Aspirin in low dose along with Atorvastatin which is a cholesterol lowering drug. Generally, in patient of coronary artery disease, previous heart attack and stroke, ecosprine AV is given for long time mostly life long.
You should neither stop this drug on your own nor you should take it for long time without consulting your doctor as it is necessary to evaluate potential benefit vs risk of side effects.
