Are Zinetac, Cefolac And Paracetamol Safe To Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Hello sir, I got pregnant. Now I am in 45 days.. I affected the continuous cough in 4 days. My doctor prescribed me to take zinetac tablet, cefolac 200and paracetamol....my Qns is... Is it safe to my pregnancy? Any affect to my baby growth.?may I take the tablet?

In early pregnancy as far as possible it is better to avoid most drugs, particularly antibiotics. However, when it is absolutely essential then it is better to use those with established safety.
Ranitidine 150 mg and Cefixime 200 mg are considered to be fairly safe. There are no reports of these drugs causing any harm to the unborn baby. As regards paracetamol, it is known to be safe. Therefore, you can use those drugs. Thanks.
