Are Abdominal Pain And Gas With Fever Symptoms Of Recurrence Of Ulcer?

I have had ulcers in the past. Today My stomach hurts. It feels like gas cramps but I do not have to use the bathroom. I am taking pantoprazole sodium prescribed by my doctor a year ago. I also have very low grade fever 99.5. Is this ulsers returning.

Your symptoms suggest gastritis or peptic ulcer disease. It can also be symptoms of some early enteric tract infection.

At this moment, you can continue using pantoprazole. Using motility agent like domperidone may also help with flatulence and sense of fullness.

If you experience any symtoms of constipation in coming days then using lactulose may help.

At this moment, one or two spikes of fever can be treated with acetaminophen, but if fever spikes persist consider using antibiotics after discussing with your GP and running few blood tests and cultures.
