Are Alkaline Phosphatase Being 161.4, SGOT 60.8m And SGPT 87.6 A Cause For Concern?
my report says Alkaline Phosphatase 161.4 SGOT 60.8 SGPT 87.6 GGT 118.1 TSH 6.28 Total Cholesterol 160 TC/HDL Ratio 5.3 LDL/HDL Ratio 4.1 Uric Acid 8.2 Rest is in Normal range, I drink moderately , please advise me how to get all in normal range. Thanks
Yes, the values what you have put from your report is a matter of concern. About your liver parameters namely Alkaline Phosphatase, SGOT, SGPT and GGT are above normal, which is indicating about liver dysfunction. Uric acid also seems to be little high because of your alcohol intake. TSH (indicator of thyroid function) is also altered. You need to stop alcohol intake and give sufficient time for the altered parameters to come back to normal. Generally, liver recovers well when alcohol is avoided. Keep a check on thyroid functions once in 6 months and get treated accordingly.
