Are Antibiotics Sufficient To Heal Pain Caused By Ruptured By Eardrum?
I ruptured my eardrum on weds during a flight. I had bood coming out of my ear. I called my doctor who prescribed an antibiotic and I flew on Saturday. It was very painful. I have a flight on Sunday and am wondering if I m risking permanent Damage to my ear?
Well , ideally you should not be flying with a ruptured membrane and there is a risk of you loosing your hearing , please try to avoid flying till you get yourself checked by your ent doctor and he permits you to fly.You can take tab tylenol for the pain as the antibiotics will not reduce the pain.
