Are Asymmetrical Shoulders A Symptom Of Adhesive Capsulitis?
Hello just been diagnosed with adhesive capulitis . Saw the physiology today who wasn t entirely convinced and suggested an MRI to rule out alternate diagnosis. Following the visit and subsequent acupuncture the pain is worse. I ve also noticed an asymmetry with the shoulders and a dimple on the back of the affected shoulder. Could this be an alternative diagnosis? E.g dislocation or necrosis ?
Shoulder dislocation ot frozen shoulder are possible diagnosis. Consult an orthopedic rather than going behind alternative treatment. If you are symptomatic, surgical fixation may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
