Are Back Pain And Stomach Cramp Sign Of Ectopic Pregnancy?
I am 9 days late had 10 negative pregnancy tests. Back pain, claf pain, and mild cramping the whole time. I had ectopic pregnancy in june and am worried it is happening again or something else is wrong now. My OBGYN said to wait another week and then call them again. Are these signs and symptoms of anything else?
Hello, In the current scenario, you can ask for a trans-vaginal sonogram and an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. If negative, it should be a delayed period and the symptoms you have could mean an impending period. Please do not indulge in any stressful activity meanwhile and avoid sexual intercourse. With an ectopic pregnancy, the pain and dizziness would be of larger intensity if there is a rupture and asymptomatic when the pregnancy is too small; either way, a sonogram with a good resolution will be able to detect the gestation sac. Hope this helps.
