Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Hypertension can not be cured. However, blood pressure can be kept under control by taking proper nutrition, medications and following a stress free with healthy lifestyle.
Several foods are known to lower blood pressure. These include:
Alfalfa, Garlic, Parsley, Lemon, Fenugreek seeds,
Jaundice berry, Indian gooseberry or Amla, Papaya and Beetroot juice.
Use of berries like blueberries and strawberries have several naturally occurring compounds that protect us against hypertension and help lower blood pressure.
Berries causes arteries to dilate and thus help to decrease blood pressure. In addition, it also contains certain
antioxidants, which protects tissues against damage due to
oxidative stress.
Hence, use of foods such as berries, along with medications could help in effectively controlling blood pressure.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
