Are Biopsies And Removal Of Basal Connected With Bloody Noses?

I have had several biopsies on my face in the last few months and have had 3 basals removed. I had one on my nose, right in the middle but it was finished off by freezing it. Now, suddenly, I have had 3 bloody noses in the last week. I never have bloody noses. Could there be a connection?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The nasal bleeding can be related to mictrotrauma of the blood vessels in the nose.

I suggest using a saline nasal spray.

The symptoms will go away on its own.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!
