Are Birth Control Pills Safe In Fibroadenoma Patients?

Hi. I have breast lumps since 2009, i have undergone breast excision twice.and thw result is fibroadenoma, i still have remaining cysts on my breast. But just now,the obgynecologist prescribed me of diane35 for my PCOS. I want to ask if it s safe to take diane35 or other birth control pills on my condition? Tnx

IN the given situation, You seems to suffer from-Androgenic dominance causing PCOS -which is being treated with Diane-35 which is low estrogen OP with accompanied-antiandrogenic- Cyproterone, which would be helping in treatment of PCOS with Fibroadenoma.Estrogens are known to be inducing firbroadenomas, but not certainly proved,especially with low estrogen OP's.
So you should not worry much and keep a watch on any aggaravation and report it to your Gynec/Obst doctor.
So be cautious to report it to your attending Gynec/Obst.
