Are Bladder Pain And Interstitial Cystitis Symptoms Of Shingles?
I am in my fourth week of shingles. Think it s healing , but still have slit toe rash and some body pain. Three days ago I felt like I had a bladder infection. Everything came up negative. Feeling lots of pressure and the need to urinate frequently. I had inter stitial cystitis many years ago. Are shingles and bladder pain/ interstitial cystitis related?
welcome to hcm, I really appreciate your concern, No shingles are not related to bladder pain/interstitial cystitis. Please provide your age and sex. Frequent urination is mostly due to super added over I.C..
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to. Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefiexime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks.regards.
