Are Bleeding And Cramps Before Period Date Signs Of Implantation?
I had unprotected sex (pull out method) on April 9th. I have a regular cycle of 28 days and my last period was on the 1st. I m assuming I ovulated somewhere around the 15th. My next expected period was today the 29th, however I started bleeding on the 27th. The blood was a normal amount but it was a bit darker in color. The flow gradually got heavier through the day and on the 28th it was pretty heavy and bright red like it normally is. Today, the 29th, the flow was a lot lighter. I have experienced PMS symptoms like I would with my normal period. I had bad cramping in my legs and back and I broke out a little on my chin which is all normal for me. However I have had tender breasts as well and so I m confused on if I m currently experiencing my period, which is two days early and a little lighter than normal, or possible implantation bleeding?

Many a times periods 1 or 2 days early or later do not suggest any symptoms of pregnancy and it may be very much normal. Similarly some light or heavy bleeding are also very much normal. Breast tenderness is also not specific for pregnancy, rather, it is a frequent symptom of PMS and you are already having symptoms of PMS with your normal period. Hence pregnancy, is unlikely with these symptoms. However, to be more conclusive, an HPT is a reliable test to confirm/rule out a pregnancy.
