Are Bloating, Gas And Abdominal Discomfort Signs Of H. Pylori?

I have been experiencing excessive gas, bloating and abdominal discomfort. I was diagnosed with h. pylori several months ago and underwent a number of tests. At colonoscopy, a precancerous adenoma was removed. I was told to return to the gastroenterologist in five years. The h. pylori was treated with antibiotics, eight pills per day. The symptoms seemed to get better, but now have returned. They occur, it seems, no matter what I eat.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
H. Pylori gastritis can cause GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause symptoms of bloating, chest pain, abdominal discomfort, belching, burping etc.
So better to follow these lifestyle modifications.
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
2. Avoid hot and spicy food.
3. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
4. Go for walking after meals.
5. Quit smoking and Alcohol if you are having these habits.
6. Loose weight if you are obese.
7. Take pantoprazole and levosulperide twice daily on empty stomach.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
