Are Blood And Urine Tests Only Used To Detect Diabetes ?

i m 26 years old my doctor diagnosed me as diabetic with type 1 but i still think that i m not diabetic. i have high blood sugar problem,there is no one diabetic in my family only my blood and urine tests have been taken by my doctor.can only from blood and urine tests it can be diagnosed that wheater i m suffering from type 1 diabetes?

Yes. If your blood sugar levels are high and your urine shows presence of sugar in it then excessive glucose is being secreted out from your body which is diabetes. It is not necessary to have a family history for it.Your doctor is right.
