Are Bumps Common During Pregnancy?

I recently noticed a few bumps on the skin between my vagina and anus. They are painless, seem pointy and white at the tip. They've never been there before. I did recently find out i was pregnant, so I don't know if it could be related to that or not.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

If they are indeed pointy, the first thing I would like to ask of you is to not try and pop them. This can result in infections in a very sensitive region. Usually a warm compress is advised, but as these are in a very sensitive region I would recommend sitzs baths to be taken more often using epsom salt and lukewarm or warm water as tolerated as many times a day as possible. If you have hair growing in the region , make sure it is well trimmed and left to a size where it would not be pulled. But please avoid shaving the region and also make sure you change your inner wear as frequently as possible so as not to leave your genitalia wet or unclean.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
