Are Burning Stitches After Having Carpel Tunnel Release Surgery Normal?

I had carpel tunnel release surgery 8 days ago and although I still have some numbness in my fingers (mostly the tips) everything has been easy and seems to be healing well. I have seen my OT 2x and we notice a slight red make at the bottom of my stitches neither of us thought it was more then I restated. Today I used my hand a lot with my brace and now tonight the stitches really burn. I see my surgeon in 2 days to take the stitches out. Should I be worried about the burning? I feel good other wise and my temp is 98.9.

HI. Good that you have undergone the surgery. Using the part too much will definitely strain and pain on the stitches. Do not be worried about this.
