Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi.. Doctors... Hope everyone is well. I am a concerned mother of two. I had been feeding Nestle Cerelac baby cereal to my eldest daughter for 2 years and currently my baby girl who is 1 year old is also consuming Nestle Cerelac baby cereal for almost 6 months now since she was 6 months of age. I am very much concerned when hearing about articles on GE substances found on most baby Commercial cereals. Is this a treat to a child s life and long term health? I heard it was a toxic substance of GE (Genetically Engineered food) which contains Chemicals. Am I feeding poison to my children? Please advise.. As I had purchased 8 boxes of Nestle Cerelac cereals now, and can t return them to the grocery store. Please help. Is Nestle Cerelac safe for babies - are there any harmful effects to the child in health wise? Thanks
These products of reputed brands are usually safe and nothing to worry. However, shift to home cooked diet as home cooked diet is more nutritious and hygienic.
