HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is not possible to diagnose hep c by simply looking at someone unless there is a previous history of hep c and he is suggesting that the infection has become chronic (long term).
In many persons, the infection is only short term, it goes away and does not recur, others may have long term problems
There are a number of different causes for
fatigue, joint pain and
jaundice (yellow discoloration).
The jaundice can occur as a result of issues with the liver itself or it may be related to problems with the blood which cause it to break down faster. This occurs in some type of
anemia.
In terms of the symptoms of hep c, these include fever, fatigue, joint pain, nausea,
abdominal pain, loss of appetite, jaundice.
You would need a
complete blood count, ESR (checks for inflammation in the body), liver function tests, protein levels and kidney function tests.
I hope this helps
