Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 33 year old female with one daughter and I have Klippel-Feil Syndrome with a c5-c6 congenital fusion, cervical ribs (these were removed in Dec and Feb), syringomelia, DDD in lumbar spine, and an annular tear L5-S1 and a slew of other issues including several cysts on my ovaries (before the hysterectomy) and a retrocecal appendix attached at the cecum (sp?) which was also removed. I have an uncoordinated esophagus and GERD. The majority of my joints are in constant pain in addition to the neck and back pain I already experience. I have two questions. Are all of the ailments mentioned related to KFS, and what are the chances that I may have passed this on to my daughter?
