Are Cramps And Tightness In The Stomach Every 6-8 Mins Signs Of Labor?

Hello, I woke up this morning and I was having really bad cramps. My stomach was getting very tight about every 6-8 minutes. It wasn t too bad I slept through it most of the day because I was feeling dizzy and nauseated, but now I am starting to feel pain in my lower back and my stomach is hard as a rock but it doesn t seem to go away. I am 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant. As 1cm dilated last time I was checked which was about 3 days ago. Am I going into labor soon?

Hi thanks for asking question.

Noted three days back you have 1 cm dilatation.
Now as you have abdominal pain and cramps consult gynecologist. As here it seems to be you are in labour ...And you have already 39 weeks completed.
Just check by doc how much dilatation is present ..If it is 3 to 4 cm dilatation then you have to probably stay in hospital for delivery. Also check whether bleeding started or not. ..

Take care.....
