Are Cramps In Hands And Feet Related To Hypothyroidism?

Hi, ive been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I m supoosed to be on meds but I m new to Victoria Tx and been without meds for awhile now. I ve been suffering from serious cramps in my hands legs an feet is that part of condition? Since I also have high blood pressure what kinf of Doctor do I need to see

Hi, Good day. Yes, the symptoms could be due to hypothyroidism. However, cramps could be due to a variety of other reasons including neuropathy, dehydration and Vitamin D deficiency etc. Hypothyroidism also cause hypertension especially diastolic hypertension. It is prudent to restart your thyroid medications. You could meet a GP or an Endocrinologist for further investigations and management
