Are Crusty, Sticky Yellow Pus Filled Eyes With Thick Nasal Mucus Suggestive Of Pink Eye?

My eyes are glued shut when I sleep by crusty and thick pus, creamy yellow, which is also sticky. Both eyes are red on rims and inside of lids. I was thinking pink eye, but also have a thick green mucus from back of nose drainage... My dr would not get me in, and my earliest apt would be Tues night 5:45pm, but I need something for relief before that. Julie

Yes, it means you have eye flu and you need to be treated for the same by starting some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory.
