General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If I were your treating doctor I would recommend to evaluate the nature of pancreatic tail cyst. The best diagnostic procedure that I would recommend is EUS = endoscopic ultrasound. It will use a scope entering from esophagus to the stomach, and with FNA (fine needle aspiration) the doctor can take biopsy of the pancreatic cyst. Please discuss that with your treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
