Are Delay In Menstrual Cycle And Irregular Pink Spotting Symptoms Of Perimenopause?
I am 49 y old and have had very regular periods for many years. I am aware that I am perimenopausal. Last month I had a typcial 4-5 day period first day light second day very heavy then light then done. Then on day 6-10 spotted. Well this month my period was 8 days late and when it started 3 days ago hasn t fully started. First day a mucousy pink discharge and light spottiness since. NO heavy second day. Is this normal perimenopausal pattern?
Hi, History suggests that you might be in pre-menopausal age giving this type of period. In future period might be heavy or less or irregular. Due to some hormonal changes at this age produces this type of irregularity. Gradually irregular of period for months and gradually period will stop. Nothing to worry. Ok and take care.
