Are Delayed Menstruation And Abdominal Cramps Normal After An Essure Procedure?
Hi I had the essure procedure 2/14 had my period normal ever month 28 to 30 day cycle and in all this time I m 2 weeks late and having off and on cramps but no bleeding at all had two preg test both negative should I worry or just wait till next mo the and see if my period comes
If you had a negative pregnancy test very likely there is nothing to worry about. For safety reasons, you may repeat the test in 2-3 days and if it remains negative then we know for sure you are not pregnant.
In this case, you just wait as most of the time, the periods should come in the next 2-3 weeks. If you do not get your periods within this time please see your doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
