Are Dizziness And Vomiting Related To Sprained Ankle?
my friend twisted his ankle this morning and has been laying down ever since to keep the weight off of it. He has not gone to the doctor for the sprain yet becuase ofo the long waits at doctors offices and ER s. He then got up to make a trip to pick up someone in the car and got seriously dizzy and started vomitting? can these things be connected somehow o
Sprained ankle and pain related to the condition may not be linked to dizziness and vomiting. Dizziness and vomiting can occur due to generalised fatigue. Any fracture or bleeding within joints should be ruled out which can also cause dizziness. Kindly check your friend's blood pressure and pulse rate to rule out any hypotension and tachycardia which can represent internal bleeding.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
