Are Ear Pain And Bleeding Symptoms Of Common Cold?
On Wednesday & Thursday I had earache on Friday this turned into a fever & head cold with sore throat. Last night & today my ears are bleeding. Is this just due to the pressure from the head cold. I am managing with paracetamol the pain in ears come and go but they feel like they are full with liquid. Anything I need to do? I am a 42yr old female.
Hello dear user of HCM! Thank you for sharing your concerns with us!
I understand the situation in which you are going through and I'm sorry for that. Such symptoms you describe in your query indicate a severe ear infection that may have started as a common cold, with throat soreness or headache and then has been complicated. You have had fevers too, and this confirm one more time the infection
I would recommend you to go to your healthcare center and consult an ENT doctor to see what's going on with your ears, is there liquid in middle ear, is the eardrum damaged, etc?
The solution in this case is a cure with antibiotics, anti-inflammators, vitamins and decongestants. It would be better if this cure was prescribed by the specialist doctor.
Take care and i hope you will be fine soon. All the best! DR ERIOL.
