Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are Elevated Mono Auto Count And RBC Count The Cause For Sickness?
A trip to ER (again) with another virus, doc this time did blood work. Auto % mono showed high at 15.7 and auto ABS EDS was elevated and RBC elevated again. Viruses have ranged from a Pnemonia in June., Many chest colds followed that. Wheezing and unable to clear throat. Now fever and coughing up flem. Xrays were clear and so was nasal flu test. Does the blood work mean Mono as in the sickness Mono?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the virus infection even just suspected and not the bacterial infection then all the concern tests would be unremarkable, as long as the symptoms are concern it would be self limiting and no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
