Are Elevated Platelet Count Of 500 And Lymphocyte Of 79% In A Toddler A Cause For Concern?

Hello, my 18 month old son recently got a CBC which showed an elevated platelet count of 500 and lymphocyte of 79%. His pediatrician is rechecking in a month and thinks it s only a virus but I wanted to get a second opinion as to whether these numbers seem alarmingly high... Like that of someone with leukemia????? Sorry, I m a worried mom. Thanks in advance! -Candice
