Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir my name is Purushothaman i am 29 years old. I have doubt whether i have mouth cancer or not. Because i feel so tired and sometime pain occurs in my face. I read the symptoms in internet. I used smokeless tobacco for last 3 years i.e Chaini Khaini. Kindly help me with this.Thank You
As per your complain tiredness and pain on face are not signs of oral cancer, rather they can be related to some muscle related facial pain or can be due to sinus or dental infections. Oral Cancer generally represents as non healing ulcers inside the mouth and smokeless tobacco is one of the most potent cause of oral cancer.
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get proper evaluation done for the pain and also avoid chewing tobacco to prevent anxiety and risk of oral cancer. As for pain you can take painkillers like Diclofenac, acetaminophen.
Avoid stress, take nutritious diet and sufficient sleep.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
