Are Fatigue And Nausea Caused Due To Any Type Of Virus?
Did i get some type of gastro virus. I woke up 2 days ago(Wed) very weak, nauseous and couldn t even stand . Had to sit with my head down on the table and then lay down. Was on the verge of fainting. Slept all day. Couldn t even sit up.didn t want to move. threw up in midafternoon. Had 102.2 fever. Had very subtle stomach pains. Today is the third day and I am recovering. still have some weakness and tiredness. Had this same thing happen about six years ago and wound up in the E.R because I was about to faint. It turned out to be a virus from eastern Europe that then hit the U.S. later that summer.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. I suggest using daily probiotics. I also recommend using Pedialyte solution to prevent dehydration. I recommend to rest, drink liquids and eat a plain diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
