Are Fatigue, Nausea And Pain Side Effects Of Taking Flucloxacillin Sodium Tablets?

I have been taking Flucloxacillin sodium 500g for 4 days, this is the 5th day and I am extremely tired and feel sick all the time, I also have a dull ache to the left hand side of my back. I had my thyroid removed in 2013 and on Thyroxine and Calcium and Vitamin D tablets. the antibiotics were for a bite that caused an infection. I am 42 years of age, female.

I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Flucloxacillin usage causes fewer side effects like
- nausea & diarrhoea (contains blood or mucus)
- yellowish eyes and skin
- bruising
- joint or muscle pain

These usually starts after 2-3days of intake & will settle down. If the symptoms persists, discontinue the tablet & get treated symptomatically.
