Hi,

Wysolone contains prednisolone which belongs to the group of medications known as corticosteroids is used to treat a wide variety of medical conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, severe allergic reactions, asthma, skin and eye disorders etc. It provides relief by preventing the release of substances that cause inflammation or allergic reactions and by suppressing the immune system. Sudden stop taking or reducing the doses of Wysolone may cause unpleasant effects which is known as withdrawal symptoms.

Withdrawal symptoms of Wysolone are weakness, fatigue, headache, fever, loss of appetite, excessiveness sweating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, weight gain, body aches, joint pain etc. Treatment for Wysolone withdrawal focuses on managing the symptoms and controlling the body's cortisol production. Some lifestyle modifications that can help people to manage Wysolone withdrawal such as getting enough sleep, avoiding stress etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
