Hi,
I am sorry for the problems your 13 year old daughter is going through.
Severe lower
back pain, fever of 101, throwing up, legs ache, and sensitive to light are all signs of acute viral infection that has also affected her GI tract (acute
gastroenteritis).
If she keeps
vomiting, send her to ER as she needs iv fluid replacement therapy until vomiting stops.
If no more vomiting, I advise to give her:
- plenty of fluids, plain water with oral rehydration salts (ORS)
- tasectan or
pepto bismol - probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- light meals (yogurt, chicken soup, rice, etc.)
- continue giving advil when running fever
If the fever won't get reduced,
pediatrician to consult further as she might need prescription meds and further diagnostic tests.
Wish fast recovery.
