Hello and welcome to HCM, Melesma is the term used for hyperpigmentation of the skin on the face and it is commonly associated with pregnancy. The hyperpigmented patches on the face are not associated with pregnancy. Creams and lotions are available for lightening the skin over these areas. However, the patches may not disappear completely but they will fade with time. You need to consult a dermatologist for prescription of these local ointments. The fibroids in the uterus are benign lesions arising from the muscle layer of the uterus. The fibroids are not known to be associated with hyperpigmentation on any part of the body.
