Are Flecks Of Blood In Urine Due To Irritation In Urethra?

2 years ago I had flecks of blood in my urine and my urologist did a biopsy of the bladder and determined the blood was from irritation in my urethra. In the last 2 days the blood has reappeared sporadically. Could it be the same irritation or could it be connected to ovaries or uterus? I feel great! Thank you for your help!

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like urinary track infection , kidney infection or pancreatitis . I would suggest you to consult urologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order ultrasound and kidney function test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for problem like pancreas . Irritation of bladder due to stone can also cause blood in urine .
