Are Genital Redness With Itching And Chest Pain With Palpitation A Syphilis Related Symptoms?
Hi my genital is red and is itching, and i'am getting heart palpitations ... It feels like I am getting a heart attack..... I have not get tested for stds in the last 7-8 yrs, and I am not sexually active for the last 5 yrs, this was with the girl I was with for 2 yrs.... We didn't have sex for like 5 months wile together, she was alway going out with her friends, five months passed and we did have sex..3 days later a red rush like after getting burned with hot water appeared on my genital beneath the skin, and it was itching, but the rush went a way, ... But now almost 5 yrs later the redness is back and is bad, I get chest pain or palpitation... Could this be syphilis?

Syphilis would be clinically silent/latent after 5 years. Therefore a blood test for syphilis would be required to confirm OR rule it out with certainity, VDRL/RPR test and TPHA test.
I would like to keep a possibility of candidal balanitis considering that you have an ITCHY red rash!!
I usually ask my patients of candidal balanitis to apply a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole twice daily for 7 days.
An oral antihistamine like cetrizine will help you with the itch part.
