Are Having Delay In Periods, Dizziness And Fatigue Signs Of Early Pregnancy?
Hi I ve been experiencing cramping in my lower abdomen for a few days and I ve been feeling very dizzy and tired and also I ve thrown up once and always have the urge too. I took a pregnancy test it was negative but my period is not until another 6 days can I still be pregnant???
The symptoms you mentioned can be due to any reason and not necessarily because of pregnancy.
As you have taken a pregnancy test and it came up negative and the date of menstruation is still a week away then I advice you to wait for another week after the expected date of menstruation.
Sometimes due to hormonal changes or stress periods are delayed which is normal sometimes. Don’t panic and wait for another week or two.
Take a pregnancy test after that if you won’t get your periods, I suggest you see a gynaecologist so that she can guide you appropriately depending on your history and physical examination for further diagnostic tests if needed.
If the symptoms are continuous and causing trouble then do not wait, visit your doctor and seek medical attention.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
