Hello,

The Symbicort is combination of Budesonide and Formoterol used in variety of clinical conditions of asthma conditions. When there is sudden withdrawal of the Symbicort against gradual tapering withdrawal one has to face variety of symptoms of withdrawal as follows:
- Tiredness
- Weakness
- Lethargy
- Muscle cramps
- Headache
- Blurred vision
- Dizziness
- Confusion
- Nausea
- Breathing difficulties

Kindly discuss the protocols of safe withdrawal as 50 to 40 mg and alternate or 3rd day tapering rather than switching from 50 to 25 mg on off a sudden.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
