Are Headaches And Sore Throat Symptoms Of Herpangina?

I am 29 weeks pregnant and our 17 month old has herpangina. He has been sleeping with us so of course sneezing in our face and has had yucky snotty nose that we wipe often. I ve had a terrible headache and now have sore throat, could I have herpangina as well? Will this hurt the unborn baby?

Hi, I think herpangina spreads easily through contact. So, you need to get yourself evaluated by a physician. Herpangina is generally a mild disease and treatment is supportive. But in pregnancy, it can lead to preterm delivery and low birth weight baby. So, get antenatal check ups done at regular intervals.
