Are Heart Palpitations Due To Medications Prescribed For Acute Bronchitis?
Hello I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and was prescribed and sent home with an inhaler. I ve been having palpitations frequently, there were blood taken, ekg, and an X-ray performed. All came back normal. My question is could the meds be the causing of my palpitations? I was also prescribed pills for the cough also.

Hi, thank you for asking the question. yes some of the broncho dilators drugs such as terbutalin causes palpitations. Before using those drugs consult your doctor. Some of the cough tablets also contains medication which causes palpitations.So please go to your doctor and tell about your symptoms then they will change the medication.
