Miscarriage should never be considered without a beta HCG blood test or a scan showing pregnancy but could be a possibility if you had sex during your ovulation time.
You have told about weight gain, though there is weight gain in pregnancy, its not much evident in early pregnancy. weight gain in pregnancy mostly happen in later half of pregnancy.
