Hello..
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Is it hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism as you mentioned that you are on Levothyroxine supplement.. so , most likely it is hypothyroidism.. Yes, PCOS and hypothyroidism are correlated.. Basically, PCOS is a metabolic disorders and it can be associated with hypothyroidism... PCOS and thyroid disorders can affect your menses.. First of all, with the medication you need to do exercise and plan for weight reduction..In PCOS, Weight reduction will definitely help in your regularisation of menses..
Second, check your serum TSH because thyroid level should be with in normal range.. otherwise , thyroid itself can be reason for your irregular menses..
I see similar cases amongst young people who visit my clinic. In the first meeting, I advise my patients to go on lifestyle modifications with the medications..
kindly consult your Endocrinologist (treating Doctor) for further management...
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
